Mike has been a litigator for nearly a decade. He began his career as a government trial attorney, gaining extensive courtroom experience before making his way to the private sector. He has since had the privilege of protecting the rights and interests of clients ranging from large construction companies that helped build the New York City skyline, to individuals living on the streets, struggling to survive.
Mike strives to provide high-quality and efficient legal representation to his clients. His broad experience allows him to think critically from both the legal and practical standpoints of a situation. He is also a trained mediator, which helps him de-escalate and resolve conflicts with the hope of preventing a trial. Having participated in more than 100 trials, he is a firm believer that forcing a judge or jury to make the final decision in a case is a loss for everyone. Though, sometimes it may be necessary.
Born and raised just outside Oakland, California, Mike is a Raiders fan who gets a lot of flack from people in his new hometown, including his wife, who is a KC native. He tries to make up for his poor choice in football teams by going out of his way to tell everyone, especially Texans, that Kansas City has the best barbecue in the world. Mike and his family live in the Swope Park area.
