Matt Lytle – Frawley Lytle

Throughout his practice, Matt has represented clients ranging from individuals to privately held and publicly traded corporations in various state and federal courts nationwide, and in arbitrations with the AAA and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Matt’s experience covers all phases of the litigation process including case strategy, pre-trial briefing and motion practice, depositions and discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and appeals. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving claims for fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of trust, breach of contract, and claims arising under various state consumer protection and merchandising practices statutes. Matt has extensive class action experience, including several recent class action trials in Missouri state and federal courts. He was recently recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for his class action work.

Adding to his litigation experience, Matt has experience in the area of white-collar defense and investigations and has represented clients in investigations by various federal agencies including the CFTC and the USDA.

Matt is a native of Colorado and spent fifteen years in Omaha, Nebraska, where he began his legal career at a large regional law firm. After moving to Kansas City, Matt practiced in large national and international law firms, as well as a small litigation boutique, before forming Frawley Lytle. Prior to becoming an attorney, Matt served on the staff of a Member of the United States House of Representatives and worked as a licensed stockbroker.
